Rajasthan in one hub of Folk Culture in India. Its mostly dessert and the people rely mostly on Tourism. With cities like Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Jaipur and Mount Abu – it rocks amidst the burning heat. People of Rajasthan are simple, friendly and too courteous. They are always excited to share their culture and feel proud on being appreciated.

This was clicked at my first Photo-Walk with The Chandigarh Photography Club – CFC at Yadvindra Gardens, Pinjore in Haryana, North India. Ever since I had got my new camera – A Nikon D90 with 2 Kit Lens, I was too excited to start photography as soon as possible.

I searched the internet for Chandigarh Photography Clubs and luckily found CFC. I had a chance to meet and learn from ace photographers like Sandeep Gupta and Rajdeep Sandhu who taught me the basics of photography like Depth of Field, Aperture, Shutter Speed and Bokeh. This first photo-walk was compiled as 700 photographs that I clicked and 18 of them came out as super cool to me; those 18 still remain my favorites. This Rajasthani Folk Artist’s Portrait is one of them. I will post more as I update this blog. Cheers!
